What grade would you give the Raider's draft overall?

I give the Raiders an A- overall. The minus is given because I felt that they should have drafted a linebacker earlier like in the 3rd or 4th round especially considering that they had two 3rd rounders and two 4th rounders.

Other than that, they pretty much addressed all of their needs across the board.

Perhaps the Raiders can sign some vets @ linebacker and edge and/or get some depth in OL, DL, DB and WR.

I really think that the Raiders are trending in the right direction and hopefully we will be competitive within the division and beyond.

Solid draft! 😎👍🏿

I joined a few Raider fan pages in Facebook and some to many posters are getting on my nerves complaining about the Raider's draft picks.

I don't claim to be an expert, but I think that the Raiders did a pretty good job drafting players who fits their offensive & defensive schemes.

They definitely addressed key needs and may have drafted some future stars.

Once camp starts onto the preseason, then we will see if they made progress on creating a more competitive team or not.

I watched some highlights of most of the draftees and was very impressed!!! I just hope that they all will buy into the Raider way and receive good coaching.

This may be the beginning of going in the right direction which is all I can ask for at this point..

I understanding is that the Raiders acquired D. White's services from Tampa Bay @ linebacker.

So, perhaps that is the reason why they did not focus on the position earlier in the draft. The guy they did draft in the 7the round is a linebacker & is more likely to play special teams and that's if he makes the final roster.

But, check out the draftee's highlights on YouTube. You may be impressed.

I do like White, I was hoping we drafted him when he came out years back

My overall point is that it is unrealistic for fans to expect a team to get every player they think would be a good fit for their team.

It doesn't work that way!

Teams draft player's that they think would fit best for their scheme. Also, most rookies need some time to adjust to the speed of the NFL, so you don't want a whole roster full of rookies regardless of their talent level.

There is still veteran free agents looking for a job. Maybe we can grab a few to fill in key positions of need.

I'd say that Coach Carroll and our GM need a couple of years minimum to get the team where they need to be because our division has a great defenses, great coaches and offensive playmakers right now!

Patience is key to our future success, IMO..
