Is it really that big of a deal in Brazil?

What was the name of the keeper that had his wife murdered and chopped into pieces and clubs still tried to sign him?

Neymar is an extremely polarizing figure in Brasil. He still has some supporters, but the overall sentiment about him ranges from distaste to hatred. Most people see him as a spoiled and entitled brat. This situation just plays into those general feelings that have already existed for a while. If this was any other player most people would see it for what it is, but because it’s Neymar it’s a much bigger deal.

The Bruno Fernandes de Souza situation was a huge deal when it happened, and he only signed to play with a small club in Minas Gerais that’s never made it higher than 6th place in Serie B and has been playing professionally since the late 90s. The only reason most people have even heard of the club he signed for was because of that situation. It wasn’t like he had any of the major clubs lining up to acquire his services.

Interesting thing, all the Brazilian players are super religious romantics.

If you go on the IG players of any of the Brazilian EPL players you're sure to see biblical quotes and lovey dovey pics with their other half lol
