If Mourinho goes to Man City :snoop:

I'm one of Mou's biggest fans but I think everyone deep down knows that he's merely an impact short term manager.

I guess it's ok, give people the success they crave and some shred of 'history'

If mancini doesnt sort out our play hes gonna get sacked :snoop: i dont understand ....pep in!.

ya i know i was talking about i dont wanna sack our manager but fukk it

I agree. Against lesser teams City sometimes lack the creativity to get that first goal that will break the game open, and the EPL is so good most teams can mount a decent counterattack and get a goal. Zabaleta was banged up all game, was only a matter of time before Adam Johnson got the better of him(Zabaleta isn't even a natural LB). Lescott shoulda been in that spot but I guess he's on the way out...

they let johnson go and signed a lesser player in Sinclair. :snoop:

They let NDJ go and signed a lesser DMs in Garcia and Rodwell :snoop: :snoop:

They forced Ade out and signed a lesser(or equally as good) player on higher wages in Dzeko. :snoop: :snoop: :snoop:

see where I'm going with this?

Yeah, I agree totally. City is paying to downgrade. I'd even argue that Adebayor is better than Dzeko. Johnson is ten times better than Sinclair...

Mancini is on borrowed time these days.

I dont think he'd have that problem at City.

He only has "short term impact" problem at clubs with rich traditions. He left Chelsea because of problem with owner not players.

edit: i still dont understand the copious amounts of love for mou i mean i do. but then you see the doubters of Pep and it just blows your mind :mindblown:

:whoa: at this overrating of Adam Johnson. That guy is not good. IN fact he and Sinclair are probably on the same level of how much they would play for City.

Adebayor mentally checked out after he scored that goal against Arsenal like he has done at Spurs. Dzeko may not be better, but at least gives his all.

And City won the premiership last year by not playing Nigel De Jong.

City needed it last year, and they need it this year, they need someone to create from central midfield.

True. I think you make the fair assumption that his motivational techniques seem to be more effective with players who haven't really had much substantial success in their playing careers. At RM you have world cup winning players who are probably not all that impressed with him. Plus Ramos who seems like a dikk off gp.

But it still yet to be seen if he can get some sort of success past the third season at clubs. The owners at Man City seem to be more forgiving, so you never know, could be a match :manny:

City does not deserve Mourinho

Eh, Mou's been exposed somewhat at RM with flaws coming to the forefront. I would have said this after the Inter treble, now...meh.

They both have a lot to prove I reckon. I think people love Mou though because he's much more charismatic I feel than Pep, and he's a show himself.

His main problem at RM is that the Spain players have way more power than him. And they haven't bought into his tactics since day 1.
Both Ramos and Casillas have more sway with the press than Mou.

Remember Mourinho's reference to the "three black sheeps" impeding him?

Yeah, I think people are still trying to figure out the 3rd one. Plus there's a rift between the Portuguese and Spanish players I heard.

Except I always feel like there are other players that haven't really bought in, Ozil coming to mind first. Dude always looks like he hates his life.
