Release from Everton[edit]
On 26 June 2020 it was announced that Garbutt would be released by the club at the end of his contract.[32] Upon his release after 11 years at the club, Carlo Ancelotti paid tribute to Garbutt in a press conference. "Who?" he said, when asked about the player.

This is on his Wikipedia :mjlol:

City will regret this. I’ve been big on him ever since I first saw him destroy Madrid in the CL with Schalke. He has the potential to be one of the very best players in the world

we know his talent but it seems he doesnt want to be at city and only at bayern. what can we do. he turned down 3 offers

edit: legit question. what is the allure of playing at clubs like bayern and PSG. two shyt leagues tbh. you know its a forgone conclusion that they will be the league winners. going to either of those clubs doesnt prove anything especially bayern. im a bit salty yes. but they strong arm every team in budensliga into giving up their best players and the team doesnt even really make a great profit to eventually replace said player

You can't really compare Bayern to PSG to be fair.

Bayern are offering him the chance to be one of THE big names of their next cycle rather than just another good player at City/squad option.

Add the huge salary, guaranteed league titles and domestic cups, decent chance of always competing for the Champions League, playing at home etc this is a no-brainer.

City should have sold him when he refused to sign a deal a year or two ago.

How is Mallorca smashing Celta 3-0 before the half, and Barca smashed them 4-0.

This is the same Celta that tied 2-2, and made Barca struggle:scust:

And they have atleti today, at least their missing Savic, Koke and Hermoso

City had no choice. Was a done deal when he got left off the WC squad. Bayern can guarantee he will make every Germany squad, even if he loses a limb. Outstanding player and potential, but we move.
