This. Especially when the US actually has some good keepers (one of the positions where the US actually produces some respectable talent). Their No. 1 keeper, Zak Steffen (who went to my college, dude was a beast), is injured at the moment.

Yeah, don't really understand Guzan starting. Steffen is clearly #1, but I'm curious who is the #2. Could have been a good time to bring in someone like Stefan Frei as he's technically a "US Citizen" and honestly he's he's close to being as good as Zak.

IIRC, Klinsmann’s son Jonathan got called up to the US National teams for No. 2 keeper role. Guzan just needs to go home.
