Today’s game commemorates 100 years since Santos started playing Botafogo in 1918. Both teams have fallen an embarrassingly long way from their glory days, but we both desperately need a win to avoid falling deeper into the relegation battle.
So at the very least both teams should be hungry to compete.

Tite’s in the building for the game, so hopefully Vanderlei and Rodrygo have big games. I’d love to see both of those guys on the Copa America squad next year.
We’ve scored two goals in the six games we’ve played since the WC, and we haven’t won in eight games. Watching this team on a weekly basis is making me physically and emotionally ill. It boggles my mind thinking about how bad we are.
The only thing that gives me any joy is reading Twitter after a game, and knowing that they’re are people out there just as miserable about watching this BS as me.
