Out of ideas, but there is a lot of corruption in signings. Clubs often sign players that have no use for them for no apparent reason. Bebe,Kallstrom,Pato etc, some of it has to do with agents and clubs trying to get reciprocal favors in the future. It makes no sense for Barca to be stockpiling players like him, Vermalean,Arda Turan who are close to 30 and won't be a significant contributor to the team. Rafa Nadal is out here scouting Ascensio while Barca strategy was based on riding the front 3.
