Exactly, dude has no excuse anymore. He refuses to play Ozil in the middle with TWO STRIKERS in front of him OR give him options wide.
Literally Ozil's poor play and Jack Wilshire playing in Ozil's position is poison for this side. They had their best game of the year with
That must be the most depressing thing for Arsenal fans: Wenger finally spends the money and nothing really seems to change at all. He has spent a fortune and the same problems they've been complaining about for the last few seasons still haven't been addressed.
Ozil sure does need conditions to be absolutely perfect for him to perform even reasonably well. You have to ask yourself is he even worth it tho? Changing around the whole team for a couple assists that other players would probably make too.
That's the thing Ozil has the creativity and ability to make those passes that others can't. Also, Its not about "changing the team around" per se. Its about maximizing your chances to win. This is what separates Jose from the Wegners, Guardiolas and del Bosques of the world. The lack of commitment to one ethos, he does what he has to do to win. If that involves changing the shape or playing different guys...he will.
Alexis is dynamic on the wing and so is Ox...we see what Ozil and Welbeck can do when they have space to connect. By placing Wilshire in there like a jackass he's ruining the flow of the midfield. Not to mention he STILL hasn't had a good match this season.....STILL.
