exactly. He turned down a five year contract this week, frustrated that he can't get games. But when he puts on displays like this it's easy to see why we run Zabaleta into the ground.

It seems Micah peaked two years ago. Sad really. He's our only true homegrown player.

Maybe we buy back Sturridge :(

It was kinda inevitable. His strength is a big asset when he still has the pace to beat his man but if he's not getting games, he's not playing match fit and if he isn't playing match fit then he looks a step and a half slow. As he gets older it'll only get worse.

Smelling salts are often used on athletes (such as boxers) when they are knocked unconscious or semi-conscious to arouse consciousness and restore mental alertness

Torres was supposed to start but injured himself in the warmup. Eto'o was a late replacement and was trying to wake himself up with dem bath salts. :heh:
