Completely, and it's hilarious the notion that he isn't. Robben is an absolute. If he's playing, he WILL create chances for either himself or a teammate, usually both.
And then his ability to perform at a high level on the biggest stage but then either be completely clutch or absolutely bottle it at a critical moment
I think I've gone on this rant before, but he is the absolute pinnacle of footballing high drama.
Given that you could probably get him for half the price for Bale, he'd be the ultimate bargain on the transfer market. Age be damned, he's already lost a step since his Chelsea/Real days and he's actually gotten better since then. With his tekkers he'll be contributing at a high level until his mid-30's.
And even with that lost step he is still quicker than most players, liek you said just off his tekkers alone. It is
THe way he will dribble past 5 players then try the R1 Fifa finish and sky it miles over the bar, when he has 3 teammates wide open. The goals he was scoring on Bayerns run to the 2010 final was

He'll never live that down and the subsequent shyt the bed pen jobs vs Dortmund in the League game in 2012 and then the CL final vs Chelsea. But inbetween that he managed to tuck one away vs Real iirc. Gettin the winner in last year CL final, probably did him the world of good, mentally and probably had a fat old wank afterwards , thats how good it was for him
