I used to off the free movie screenings when I was into that kind of thing and didn't mind making the trips... maybe once every couple of weeks. Still out there of course, only advice I have is if it's one of those where its non-exclusive and your name isn't on a list, come early.

Best one I remember was going to see the last Wallace and Gromit at 11am Lincoln Square, stayed until like 10pm just hopping around, and all free

I was lucky enough to get into one of those lists, I don't even remember how... got into legitimate premieres and everything. You just gotta say you're press or something like that. The best one I remember was Murderball, had the guys in the film after and everything.
