Taken from another board.

Villas-Boas:

Number of Chelsea managers since Abramovich took over: 9
Number of Tottenham mangers since Levy took over: 12 (includes David Pleat twice and Clive Allen twice)

:lolbron:

Daniel Levy started 2001
Roman 2003

Roman would've fired 6 managers in that 2 years diff :mjpls:

Borg being Borg. Not sure if any of you have seen this but hey. Trolling at its finest. (also lol @ Kinnear asking Borg about this on yesterday's podcast)

SmorgasBorg: Spain's missed opportunity at Euro 2012 | MLSsoccer.com

Everyone is focused on what Spain has accomplished. But on the day after La Roja outclassed Italy in Kiev in the Euro 2012 final, there is also a distinct feeling that Spain could have done more.

No, 4-0 was plenty when it comes to the scoreline. But at 2-0 up, with the match well in hand, Spain really had a chance to transcend.

Italy had raised the white flag with 30 minutes to go. When midfielder Thiago Motta hobbled off the pitch, so too did any real Italian hopes of vanquishing the world champs. He was Italy's last sub and he was done. Italy were down to 10 men the rest of the way.

At that point the mighty Spaniards could have made the ultimate fair play gesture and voluntarily removed a player to even the field at 10-vs.-10.

Whether it was the recently introduced Pedro or even Cesc Fabregas, it wouldn't have mattered with a smattering of minutes left. They would still have won the game and they would have transcended like no team has since the 1970s Brazil side for a simple act of fair play.

Not with Ibra they aint. If they do anythnig in the CL it will be next season not this one. Their defence when they aint got the ball will be :krs: its just the defenders and the 2 holdin DM's players if they go with a 4231 :russ: if you think the front 4 are gunna be suitable defenders in the CL :youngsabo:

Whats lost in the Lavezzi/Irba/TS transfers, is that they also got the next Pirlo in Marco Verratti :sadbron:

When everyone else was focusin on the Ibra & Thaigo Silva transfers.

Milan & Juve wanted him, Milan offered more, but the lad supports Juve, but they didnt want to go higher as they already got Asamoah & Isla.

Thats a good move for their future :ehh: i like it

I think this is the last summer teams can go Hammy in the transfer market, so teams if you got assets and need that money its time to sell high. Coz anytime after that, its gunna be hard.

Thats why Chelsea and PSG are stackin up with talent.

And PSG can do what Citeh did with regards to gettin around the FFP rules. The people who own PSG can just get one of their companies to agree to sponsor PSG that will give them a revenue outlet like Citeh did with the stadium sponsorship

FFP means fukk a lot.

The difference is Chelsea and PSG are worrying about FFP down the road while other clubs (Man City, Milan, other super power) are worrying about it now. Man City aren't that special breh.
