This season they are taking it easy even against the worst teams. They should be beating a team like Hamburg 5-0, Braunschweig 8-0, but they don't get out of 1st gear. When they will need to play at maximum effort against top teams, they won't be able to.

Think some of y'all in your thirst to see Arsenal fall are reading into things and are a bit irrational. To say it's a collapse when you play City at home and draw with Everton is a stretch. Collapse is Arsenal 2007/08, United 2011/12, Spurs 2011/12, where you are dropping points against teams you really shouldn't.

Arsenal were shyt and were still giving City trouble, only issue is when their legs went. And the offsides calls.

In every season there are a few games where you can't read too much into it and this is one imo despite it being a title rival. City dominant at home, high intensity week for us a loss was on the cards. Put any team in this position and the outcome is the same.

If anything Wenger who notoriously doesn't like to rotate needs to learn to chill, Ozil, Gibbs, Koscielny, and Ramsey had no business out there in 2 or 3 matches.
