Yup and will get bodied vs a proper midfield defensively, so with knees permitting, I expect Essien to be startin in the big games

Yep, that's why I'm really hoping we get a favourable draw in the CL group stages. I still can't believe Mourinho hasn't tried to get that type of player considering he had Modric and Alonso just recently. Doesn't make sense tbh.

We need that type of player and another striker if we wanna do anything this season.
