i don't want to believe that van persie is a fascist, but :wtf: was he thinking doing that dumbass celebration. did he ever explain that

the screen cap is funny too, in the first frame it's all :blessed: behind him, till he realizes the celebration and it becomes :whoa:

greek breh prolly wanted to troll and didn't realize they would hit him so hard

It's not a Nazi salute I was on my :skip: It sorta looks like he's brushing off his shoulder and he used to do it often.

It does come too close though :whoa:

Just reading the 365 mailbox and I knew it was only a matter of time before this:

Biggest thing that pissed me off about him (even more so than his greedy tendencies) is that he's shook of ANY kind of tackle/challenge. He pulls out of challenges in his favour let alone 50-50s and never competes for headers.

pissed off the Liverpool supporters too:

Our two best players, Suarez and Gerrard, are also our two hardest-working players. How will they feel over time watching Sturridge swan about the pitch pulling out of every challenge, and pouting and gesticulating when every attack doesn't ineluctably result in a chance for him?

I never really liked the Nazi salute as a gesture determining a thing. At least with something like c-walking, which takes practice, there can be no confusion as to what you're doing or how you get down. Unless you're kinda stiff like Serena Williams.

So Rio Ferdinand did end up :troll:ing Hodgson after all :pachaha: I just knew he was going to pull out.

@SCORCH
I thought Sturridge was finally going to change but looks like its just a pipe dream....its a shame because he's such a talented player.

Breh people with egos like Daniel Sturridge never change, c'mon you should know this by now if youve watched enough sport. They are who they are.

The Traps of Unified Korea
Brehs, who is your favorite player to watch?

He was number two until Cristiano slowed his game down, but for me it's Robben. What a wonderfully talented, flawed, spectacle of a player. It's like he plays in spurts. He's either dialed all the way down playing the team game, or spendin 15-45 minutes determined to do absolutely fukking everything by himself.

Any given game he's likely to pick up the ball in his own half, dribble down the wing, lose the fullback by going left, lose the center by going left, get brought down in the box, wag his finger and shake his head as more qualified individuals plead to take the penalty, miss said penalty, make a :noah: face, then fire off 2-3 shots from outside the box to close out the half.

He's the player I feel is most likely to score an amazing goal in a match, both because of his ability and his ability to forget the previous eight attempts at wondergoals that has his entire team mean mugging him. Some of his best goals feature a few teammates standing unmarked in the box with their hands up.

Remember his first World Cup game? Bossed the entire thing, dribbled his ass off, scored the only goal, and his whole squad wanted him dead as he needlessly ballhogged against a Serbia and Montenegro side that they probably could've put 5 past.

What a hero :wow:

The Game Podcast

Wigan owner Dave Whelan tells @bbc5live that McManaman tackle on Haidara wasn't reckless and he took the ball "clean as a whistle."

Dave Whelan: “young McManaman went in for the ball and got the ball, as clean as a whistle, then followed through and they collided"

Whelan: “..referee was 15 yards from the tackle. I don’t think his view was blocked. He had a clear view. I had a clear view in the stands"

Whelan: McMananman "hasn’t gone over the ball. That’s an accident.. There is not one ounce of malice in [him].. He was very upset by it all.
