3/4 seasons ago, this move would've been great. But to not even have some discussions with other clubs is a bit silly. There was no transfer fee, so clubs wouldve figured out a way for a player like him. I dont know what club he shouldve gone with instead.

But this should be a lesson to players, even tho it wont be. What are you sentimental for? You have a few prime years. Dont let sentiment get in the way off that.

Unfortunately Mbappe aint Ronaldo despite trying to follow in his footsteps.

CR7 shifted to the 9 role as thats what Madrid needed him to do. Mbappe cant hack it there, or is too spoiled to try and hack it long term

if Perez has to make room for Mbappe on the LW, he will. im guessing Vini is gone end of season and they get some reinforcements / youth at all levels of the team

Apart from them being his boyhood dream. He went Real to make sure he won Ballon d'Or. Apart from the odd year like this season. If you play for Real or Barca the chances of winning are higher than anywhere else.

And you're right he should of left 3 seasons ago but his game has become such a soloist act now. That he doesn't do enough off ball work to even work for the like of Klopp or even Pep or Arteta. If we got off what they ask their forwards to do.

He's become a high volume player who offers nothing unless he gets the ball. And this all goes back to him spending more time fighting and playing politics with Neymar Cavani and then Messi.
