It's the Madrid players who've thrown their toys out the pram. The only reason they dislike him is because he upsets their mates at Barcelona and they want to be cordial with the guys who win them stuff at the international tournaments. The Porto, Inter and Chelsea players didn't give a shyt who he upset.

They were not as behind as they were in 2009 when he got there, they had like 99 points in that season. The way he wound them up before every Barca match worked against them initially because it put them off their game, Pepe was a good example because Barca targeted him and easily got him red carded. I dont think any of those Real players saw themselves as underdogs to guys they play with and won international tournaments with, they put themselves on par with them.

They weren't that far behind but Mourinho got them ahead. That's the difference.

Madrid players may well delude themselves into thinking they're counterparts with the Barca players but nobody else does.
