United not voting with Liverpool and Arsenal and the other Americans? I'm shocked.

that's what i meant.

people like him, lineker, merson, michael owen got opportunities as pundits that their breh peers were not getting in numbers until recently.

not to mention the lack of opportunities in the past for the non-ex-footballer show hosts.

League desperate to stop man city any way possible

Yeah, they rather shoot themselves in the foot that have City run the league.

PSR was a sham, penalized clubs in the bottom half of the table(most of whom were conned by the American owners to vote for it). So now they propose a salary cap based on the TV revenue of the last placed team.

What attracts players to the shyt weather and shyt food of England? Money and the lure of playing in the most televised league in the world. Mid table clubs like Chelsea and United can buy questionable youth prospects like Amad Diallo and Madueke, with these new rules these clubs have a much smaller margin for error when making transfers. Same goes for the man dem that thought they could find a world class talent in Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus.

You mean the league wants to stop City and clubs like them continuing to operate with impunity.

It's not sustainable for English football from the PL all the way down to the pyramid for a select few to be ran the way it has.

As long as the execution is right, the PL should absolutely look at better ways to regulate how spending occurs in the best interests of the Game and not 3-4 teams.

The margins of error being smaller is better in the long-term if it means clubs are more selective with how they spend money and you know, clubs are responsible for actually coaching players and not just splashing cash.

Also have to account for the insane money spent on agent fees.

You are a Manchester City fan though so, there's that, lol.
