They hadn’t won a premier league match in 2023 when he was sacked (12 matches). They only scored 21 goals in 27 matches when he was sacked and they were just three points ahead of relegation. That’s how you lose a premier league manager position.

Sacking Vieira was never the wrong move. Bringing in Roy and keeping him another season was.
