Don’t disagree on the bolder and We can an agree on his inconsistency on the pitch, but I’m speaking in objective terms.

If the football career read like a cv, how many professional players could say they played game at the highest level and significantly contributed to winning multiple league titles and a world cup (and scoring in the final).

There are more than 1000+ pro players in any given season on the Italian pyramid, only ~17-18 players can say the significantly contributed to winning the Scudetto, the top prize. Not just once, but 4x.

Objectively, that’s not an “average” career.

As far as the majority of United fans are concerned his career was average for United and thats all that matters too THEM. If he had left after season 3 or 4 (obviously year 4 was the covid season and made a move harder for him in the summer 2020. Before someone brings it up) he would of been more fondly remembered but he stayed and they couldn't wait for him to leave by the end.

Bergkamp was on like that in 92? Or he felt he had to name a bunch of dutch players because he was in Holland lol

He was the breakout player for Holland and joint top scorer in the Euros. Also Ajax won the Uefa Cup thst year beating Torino in the final. Win Jonk got signed from Ajax to Inter at the same time back in 93.

Did he tell Ronaldo to apologise after weeks of disrespect?

Ten hag seems to be doing a shade check...

This clip summarizes Gabi’s season so far. His game has fallen off a cliff, and the ungrateful Flamengo fans are terrorizing him.

He should have accepted a transfer to Europe when he had a chance :snoop:

Still…why the name shortening. Doesn’t explain it..unless the British media wanna take out the Islamic reference.

Even in Islamic communities (at least the ones I've visited), like 90% of the men named Mohammed don't go by Mohammed, because there's way too many boys named Mohammed. Most of them go by either their 2nd name, a combination of Mohammed and their 2nd name, or a nickname.

Funny thing is, the ones who go by their 2nd name, when they write their name a lot of them do write Mohammed as "Mo.", but only as the written abbreviation. So Mohammed Hussein Ali would become Mo. Hussein Ali. I've never taken it as being supposed to say "Mo", you still say "Mohammed" just like when you write "Mr." you still say "Mister", but it would be funny if the reason certain athletes get called Mo is derived from that custom.

I bet Ian Evatt won't be betting again anytime soon. Cough cough

Strange the FA punished Toney so harshly yet others are getting away with it.
