It wasn’t a penalty bc it was good defending. He tried to bully his way through, Gabriel matched it, and Zinchenko I think was also there to clean it up. Giving a penalty for that would’ve been criminal. It’s a physical game and Rasmus got out physicalled there.

Take the L, it happens. If it makes you feel better you ended our unbeaten streak with one of the all time worst referee performances ever so it is what it is
I think that instance it was Saliba that picked the ball off while they were being physical over there

I understand giving somebody a second chance, but everything Getafe has done since the move is absolutely embarrassing. Either they’re completely tone deaf or they’re trying to position themselves as the fan favorite for the DT’s of the football world.

Say what you want about them but Getafe understands public relations and media messaging. If you're gonna be an a$$hole then be an a$$hole, you can't p*ssyfoot around when you decide to make certain choices.

Manchester United did the opposite, tried to have it both ways and ended up getting shyt on from every direction. They wanted to bring him back but still be the good guys. So now they not only lost the player on the pitch and tanked his value but also got all the negative PR backlash they would've received by bringing him back.

This is the most anyone has talked about Getafe since their 2008 Uefa Cup run.

:skip:

Edit: didnt something crazy happen in their tie against Bayern? Its in my memory bank for some reason.
