Sociedad were quoting Arsenal 75-80m when they looked at him in Jan 22 he only scored 3 goals from Jan till the end of the season. Newcastle was the ideal situation for him to develop. Less pressure than at Arsenal where people would expect him to perform straight away. Newcastles goal last season was to hopefully get a EL or EC place. Also Newcastle have Callum Wilson so he doesn't have the burden to be the main scorer.
