On the one hand, the Saudi's are ruining football by distorting transfer fees/salaries, they murder opposing journalists, torture prisoners, oppress women, recruit (what are essentially) slaves to build their gaudy obnoxious vanity projects and they're indiscriminately bombing innocent Yemenis.

But on the other hand:

so I guess it all evens itself out:manny:

And no matter what happens Mbappe isn't coming to City. Doesn't work geopolitically (surprise not all these countries are the same and they don't all get along) and financially, City did make a lot of money this season but to even match his wages would be difficult.

Madrid is his only option, but it would be fun to see him in England.

Seems like South America is pretty developed to me

The difference between Euro football & SA football is money...same as Africa and everywhere else in the world.

Give these other regions Euro money & stability, and shyt would get very spooky.

West Indies cricket in the 80s showed that the talent is there, it's just everything else isn't.

Bellingham to Madrid doesn't scare me, La Liga needs this. The league is looking weak with most of their big name players getting old or leaving the league.

Clásico should be popping.
