For the record, questioning the hiring of Ten hag shouldn't even be close to a talking point. That would be like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

The same problems have existed across three (or arguably four) managers. It's the players. It's the recruitment. It's always been the players and recruitment.

When Phil Jones is still at the club what is the question :jbhmm:

To put it into context, C. Ronaldo is their best player and he's 37. Plus his workrate is not even close to what it once was.

There is no player on this pitch that could start for Citeh or Liverpool. Maybe Ronaldo at Pool...just maybe.

Klopp wouldn't start Ronaldo in a million years with his workrate.

yeah but we were finishing in the champions league places and actually finished 3rd that season. that's not arsenal at its low.

it questionable as to whether city were an established "top six" team back then.

in retrospect it could be argued but wolves, leicester like performance (at that time) didn't quite cut it IMO

in the 5 previous seasons man city got 14th, 9th, 10th, 5th and 3rd which back then was not really "top 6" established.
