The way he single handedly carried Brazil when he was only 18-19 was wild. It just makes it even sadder the way his career turned out post Barcelona :francis:

But nobody should be surprised, it's a normal career progression for a Brazilian star player :heh:

Same sort of trajectory as PR and DR boxers. :hubie:

Mexico will play in any huge stadium and almost every field in Canada is turf but somehow the USA is too good to play on turf. I don't get it.

Easier to get injured on turf and I hate the way the ball rolls on the surface.

If turf wasn't an issue they'd just play every USMNT match in Seattle.

Not really, there is a reason almost all of their games are in places like Ohio, Minnesota, Kentucky. Imagine how much worse they would get shown out in the stands if it was in places like Cali, Texas, NYC where minorities live
They used to play their games in the 90s and early aughts And it would be mostly other nations filling it.

The US should play in Miami and Atlanta more.

If the fed cared about injuries, they wouldn't have scheduled a qualifier in St. Paul, MN at night in the middle of winter where players got frostbite :russ: ... FIFA lets others use turf in their stadiums and others come over here and have no problem using the turf stadiums here, come on

Especially for friendlies. For friendlies they absolutely should be using the markets they avoid for WCQs.
My thing is Atlanta and Miami are more pro US than other metro cities. The US could get a majority US crowd in Miami against Mexico.
