It's wild that Carragher speaks more sense about United than the other United pundits like Neville, Keane, and Ferdinand. Everything he said here is facts.

The fukk?? Klopp got to a el final and carabao final with sorry ass team hia first season...then got them to a cl final they had no business in :hhh: they won the conference bro like lol come on...alot of these roma players would EASILY walk into the pool 1st eleven in klopp's 1st season..mou is great but he's washed at the top level

And mo did spend money to buy too lol and began the season from the summer klopp came in october/ november not the same circumstances at all

No way, that Liverpool side had Milner, Coutinho, Henderson, Firmino. Coutinho left early but he was amazing for Liverpool and was legit one of the best players in the world. As for the other three, they have been key players for Klopp throughout the past seven years which shows their quality. Who has Roma got on their level? They haven't a single world class player. They've got some promising young players like Zaniolo and Abraham, but they aren't at that level yet.

And there is something called football heritage. Roma hadn't won a trophy for 14 years. However good the squad is on paper that is a huge mental and psychological challenge for any football club, to go that long trophyless. Liverpool's trophy drought was only three seasons for Klopp. He still had a lot of players who knew what it was to lift something in Liverpool colours.

We won our last trophy in 2011 I think then Klopp didnt win anything till 2019
So that's an 8 year trophy drought

Are you forgetting Liverpool under Rodgers who went his whole campaign without winning anything

:mjlol: you trying to spin it as Mourinho has been punching above his weight.

You forgetting the Super squads Mourinho had at Chelsea mk 1 Real and Inter. That Chelsea mk2 squad wasn't too bad but not at the level of his previous 3 jobs. Even the great Porto achievement was they had been the strongest team in Portugal over the previous decade 10 titles in 15 years.

:dead: trying to sell the hooker with the heart of gold with Mourinho.

Now:

Mou just won Roma their first trophy in ages in his first season there.

That's "punching above" ...

At the Start:

"União de Leiria
Mourinho found a new managerial post in July 2001 with União de Leiria.[37] During his time at União de Leiria, the team was on a run contesting places as high as third and fourth. After a 1–1 draw against Santa Clara on 20 January 2002, Mourinho recorded eight matches unbeaten in the league (six wins, two draws) since 25 November 2001.[38] And the team was in fourth place, one point ahead of Porto, one point behind of Benfica and six points behind the top of the league table.[39][40] Mourinho's successes at Leiria did not go unrecognised and he caught the attention of larger Portuguese clubs.[25]

Winning a treble with that intermilan squad was very impressive way more than guardiola winning two champions league with a prime messi, xavi and iniesta.
The porto team was also a good team no where near a super team at all and he won, while guardiola bottled the champions league again and won the epl with 1 point after being up by double digits during the winter break/Christmas

Mou won the Europa League and then followed that up with the Champions League the next season with porto.

Two seasons, two European trophies .. who else has done that in modern times? Zidane/Real? who else?

Porto is by far the smallest team to have won the Champions League (not European Cup).
