Yeah that 08 team was mad ya kno, remember Villa being estimated at 80mil, was a mind blowing fee at the time.

bayern stay on top by being wealthier and poaching the best players from their opponents.

there is no other german club that has anywhere near to the same international following and that bring $$$ with it. bayern's domination happened as mainstream international dollars flowed into european football.
