Dumb question: Is Maguire salvageable as a defender in this backline if he is limited to the role of a stopper/sweeper and has a proper DM playing in front of him winning the ball? Or is he not even good enough at that to be starting regularly for United?

Maguire needs to be sold this summer but I dont think Ten Hag has the balls to make that decision!
