the financial fair play stuff is bullshyt, cause the only way teams gain fans is by being successful. and everyone knows you can only be successful if you pay up $$$$$

Pretty much. You can channel money into player development (which has suffered most from oil money) and stadiums but not buying players.
But lets be honest, the status quo would be sitting pretty with or without FFP. FFP is more about City and Chelsea than United, Bayern, Arsenal, etc. EU economies, TV money, and the formation of the CL killed the Villas, Valencias, and Liverpools more than anything.
No one, outside the Arabs and Russians, would continue buying football clubs without spending controls anyway. Doubt FFP will survive anyway.
