Yeah the Ronaldo pressing thing was always overblown. In a Rangick team he’ll mostly be doing very short sprints to cut passing lanes. Ralf’s whole thing is funnelling the ball in to areas where the ball can be won, setting traps.
People for some reason thought Ronaldo pressing = Ronaldo having to constantly chase defenders/the ball across the pitch and do 50km a game. Further up the pitch you can trap the opposition the less distance you have to run.

Just look at the whole Palace midfield and attack caught in the midfield box and the FB's basically have a free reign down the flank. All that is missing is the Palace RB position.
