Kante is deff a big blow but Alonso was displacing Chilwell at the start of the season regardless so not as big a deal.

Tuchel has these guys well drilled and getting onto the pitch expecting to win each time.
Chillwell for this system is way better than Alonso. In this system you need pace to burn. You need a left back that can go up and down the left wing the entire game. That's not Alonso.

Nah breh, Alonso is a diabolical defender and an absolute liability. Whatever he gives you going forward is negated by how bad he is defensively. Chilwell was in the form of his life so it's a pretty big deal.

I’m sure Chelsea look better with Chilwell but having Alonso deputizing for a few weeks isn’t the end if the world. They did it at the start of the season and it worked well for them. I think losing Kante is the bigger blow and even then RLC is also another very good stand in.

Probably one of the better games I’ve seen Ziyech play in a Chelsea shirt. Misplaced a few passes at first but he came through later on.

It will be a shame with Real Madrid come with an offer that Tuchel can't refuse. Him and Chelsea are just a dream match.

The team is a well oiled machine and barely even concedes goals. Hard to believe that this pretty much the same squad under Lampard.

That Russian money will keep him put
