Also his lack of control of his tekkers at times exposes his limitations. Fine when he's scoring and able to run into space but final pass the touch the strength on the ball lacks.

No just no. Barnes creative from LM/LW was so good that once he lost speed because of the Achilles injury at 29. He was able to move into CM and be the main playmaker control the tempo and never lose the ball. Mane loses his pace and he isn't the same player nor do I think he could adapt his game either.
