He wasn't in control of the ball so he slowed down. Looked like a lack of confidence.

He doesn't like to strike it first time from that side, plus Matip was close. He did well to hold the ball and pick the right pass.

Overall Sterling looked good in his cameo but he's been off for City all year. He needs a striker to play off of, the regression of Sterling coincided with the decline/injury/departure of Aguero.

:ehh: cant argue am here thinking who but no names...had mane not falling off he might take over barnes...still time though:wow:

No just no. Barnes creative from LM/LW was so good that once he lost speed because of the Achilles injury at 29. He was able to move into CM and be the main playmaker control the tempo and never lose the ball. Mane loses his pace and he isn't the same player nor do I think he could adapt his game either.

Easily the match of the season so far....players going at it till the final whistle :banderas:

I'm convinced that a team like Sevilla or Real Sociedad is gonna win La Liga this year.

If I'm the likes of Sevilla, Atheli, La Real, Bilbao, Valencia, Villareal then I have to think these next 2-3 years are my best chances to win serious silverware / European football.

IMO....Atlethi and Sevilla should be challenging for the league

La Real for UCL ball..Bilbao, VCF and Villareal for UCL/UEL. The rest can all fancy their chances in the CDR as well
Think that united can compete with these two teams:mjlol:

This October - November stretch is the litmus test for Ole

Leicester - a
Atalanta - h
Liverpool - h
Spurs - a
Atalanta - a
City - h
Watford - a
Villarreal - a
Chelsea - a
Arsenal - h

That's a tough run
Bayern, PSG and Real Madrid all lost today. :ehh:

Smaller clubs came to play ball today :leon:

I'd say all the way back to late 2019 early 2020 tbh. Hasn't looked the same since. Also he's become more selfish at times and tries to do too much as well. I understand why because his numbers say he deserves to be selfish at times but it's the decision making is annoying much like Sir Marcus. Also his lack of control of his tekkers at times exposes his limitations. Fine when he's scoring and able to run into space but final pass the touch the strength on the ball lacks.
