Brighton are giving us that work :beli:

The way they move the ball around and press is really impressive. I’m not feeling this game plan of sitting back and letting Brighton dominate possession because they’re looking very dangerous.

Those Norwich/Burnley games are true reflection of Arteta’s Arsenal. Last week was just Spurs tax.

It’s not a game plan. We can’t keep the ball against them.

ESR is a baller when he gets on the ball though.

Lakonga gotta learn he's not there to attack. I hate Xhaka but what he's adept at is linking attack and defense with direct passing.
Thomas is there to control the center circle.

Once the ball is up to Ødegaard or ESR they can tighten the screws.

ESR is saucy on the ball. The only thing missing is that killer final pass or shot but he’s been out bright spark this half.

I’m trying to shoot Arteta some bail and say it was the game plan because if we can’t consistently get out of our own half against Brighton then we are in serious trouble for the rest of the season.

Lokonga is more of Partey type-player than a Xhaka which is why I was nervous about today. Having both of them on the pitch is cool when we’re dominating possession and moving the ball around but we need someone more disciplined in sitting back since it’s a double pivot and we’re on the defensive.

I agree on that which is why for me Lakonga's gotta be the one dropping back. I want his energy to start attacks and Partey putting in killer passes.

We’re looking better in the first 10 minutes of this half so hopefully he gets more time on the ball. I wasn’t mad at his shot on goal since we need to be more direct.

It's been all too obvious for me. Thomas been playing like he's never seen rain before. Ødegaard been piss poor today. I'd actually like to see Laca coming in when we don't have direct passing. He'll drop in and let Saka/Pepe run in.

I hope Cholo has the boys ready, because if Barça has any pride whatsoever they’re going to come out guns blazing after that thrashing they got a few days ago.
