Southgate is a coward for not starting Grealish
Lukaku is so fukking good :wow: the quality of his two finishes and off the ball movement throughout that game were reminiscent of the GOAT goal poacher, Filippo Inzaghi. Absolute dead-eye ruthlessness in front of goal

I dearly hope we don't fukking sell him, financial crisis or no. We've already lost Conte, if we lose Lukaku too in the same window we're fukked :sadcam:
That's Ruud van Nistelrooy
You know whats the strangest, Benzema is the only player of Arab descent in the whole team. You would think there would be more.
They purged them all when they got rid of "troublemakers"

I'm half considering watching the rest of the Tour de Suisse instead as a silent protest of :scust: Would of been the cricket but those idiots phucked that up yesterday.

Starting Sterling over Grealish has made me go abit :what: aswell

I think this could be a long and depressing month for us, and his job is completly safe until Qatar no matter how bad we do I've been reading

If I could bring my self to watch cycling over football I might of been joining you, but I cant sorry

New Zealand are a proper excellent side, England hadn't lost a home series since Sri Lanka beat them back in 2014 and the Kiwis just bossed them in both tests

Van Nistelrooy was superb in that role as well, but for me Inzaghi defines the pure goal poacher, like Makélélé with the DM. I think I feel this way because I recall other great poachers like van Nistelrooy, Torres, Batistuta, Crespo, and nowadays Lukaku and Kane, as being much more dynamic footballers than Inzaghi. These guys can all do one or more of passing, dribbling, shooting from distance. They have physical presence as well, they all either had a bit of pace or a bit of strength, or lots of both in Lukaku's case.

Inzaghi on the other hand was a terrible football player, he only had two skills and that's finishing and timing his runs to beat the offside trap. He was slow and weak, couldn't dribble, pass, tackle, take free kicks, cross etc. So because of his highly specialised nature and limited footballing ability outside his niche specialization, I consider him the definitive goal poacher

I understand Sterling because he performs for Waistcoat and he wants the outball run in behind option. It was interesting that both Cesc and Mourinho picked Grealish Foden and Mount to start in their XI's.

Watching the cat and mouse games and then elite climbers capitulate in the mountains stages is :banderas:

Also cycling is one of the few Sports England/UK are actually elite at.

At the bolded part - I'm of the same opinion.

Who do you think should be England captain?

When it got given to Kane a couple of years ago , I would have given it to Henderson, he is a good captain , captain of his club which Kane isn't

But now I'm not so sure as he doesn't get into the team as much.
It's a bit of a tricky one now as we dont have many leaders in our squad, like we used to when I was growing, we had loads back then like Adam's, Ince later on Ferdinad,Campbell , Terry etc

I Dont think people like Maguire are leaders as he needs someone good beside him to help him out all the time, same with Stone

I think in time maybe someone like Rice or even someone like Phillips will be good enough and show enough quality in leadership to become captain,

England are shyt at Test Cricket. It's nothing to do with the Kiwis quality it's the fact that England don't know how to bat at that level or even select the right team. Don't care that they haven't lost at home since 2014. I don't have the time and effort to go thru all the sub 200 scores England have put up over the last 4-5 years but its a lot and not good enough.

England test team is French Rugby Union NT status. And as as Kiwi I'm sure you understand that.

Oh a convict my bad

French Rugby team bipolar nature. How they'll turn over anyone on their day one week and then get spanked the next week. Like their recent tour of India. Won first test and then go murdered the next 3. That's England's test cricket team. England only win tests in England because the weather is shyt and play with the Dukes ball where everyone else plays with the kookaburra ball barring the West Indies who've transitioned over to the Dukes a while back.
