Naw see you got the analogy all wrong. Using your example it would be like you worked to get to Brazil (Premier League) thinking you were gonna live it up but once you get there you scraping the bottom of the barrel, the top hoes disrespecting you, and you working 3 jobs just to be there. But the place you left you were getting anything you wanted. Your rivals are in the league you promoted up from.

How is it better to go up and get shat on weekly instead of getting some wins one step below? I could see from the owner perspective because you getting more money coming in but for a fan, how does it feel better to lose consistently albeit at a higher level?

Money and prestige. Spend a couple of years in the Prem and your asking price in a transfer goes up exponentially. Players like Rapinha (Leeds) would have never get a sniff at a big club on a big contract. But because of how they played and how Leeds looked against top flight teams he's going to have a winfall for his next contract. So the money aspect filters through the ENTIRE club. Better coaches, better kit deals, better players, better coverage etc.

To keep with the analogy, even the bottom barrel of where you are is better than where you came from.

Also, what's the ideology that America has no stunning women. I'd argue that some of the finest women ever are American.
