It’s still amazing how people can stop a bunch of teams from pulling out of a Union..but they were all for a whole country pulling out of a union. The second one, have/had a way harsher ramifications than the first one lmao. But they still celebrating right now :russ:

Why are people so stupid sometimes? :dwillhuh:
We value the wrong things :snoop:

Gary Neville pressuring politicians about the Super League, yet not doing anything about the millions of fukked up things that’s happened in Manchester. :mjlol:

Format details

Taking the total number of teams from 32 to 36 in the UEFA Champions League, the biggest change will see a transformation from the traditional group stage to a single league stage including all participating teams. Every club will now be guaranteed a minimum of 10 league stage games against 10 different opponents (five home games, five away) rather than the previous six matches against three teams, played on a home and away basis.

The top eight sides in the league will qualify automatically for the knockout stage, while the teams finishing in ninth to 24th place will compete in a two-legged play-off to secure their path to the last 16 of the competition.

All this bullshyt and extra games (not including qualifying) just to have Madrid, Bayern, Chelsea, Barca, City, PSG, and the like in the final 4 every year.

at least they will have somewhat earned it rather than be "guaranteed" ... the UEFA format is far from perfect but also much better. Lesser of two evils here..

What’s British football without its casual xenophobia under the veneer of ‘patriotism’? :mjlol::francis:

It's true in this case though, the American owners copped the most heat from the fans and the biggest grievance fans had was the Americanisation of football. It's different to when Souness accused "Latin types" of being divers etc.
