There isn't anything wrong with crosses. Problem being it's the connotation you need to have a big target man for that tactic to work, when its really the movement of the players in the box. Liverpool and Man City put in the most crosses last season and Top 5 for 18/19. Liverpool are also 4th for this season along with Leeds (1st) and Villa (3rd) and none of those teams have a Andy Carroll types playing up front for them either.

I agree with you don't get me wrong. But that's not Auba's game either. Play him ball to feet and let him get in behind a defender. Imagine Auba with a KDB or Firminho.

Yes he will get his opportunities. Honestly he should play most games, but there are sometimes I see him make mistakes and maybe that's why Pep doesn't fully trust him.

I don't want to burn him out tho, playing guys alot when they are young usually leads to them being washed by 28.
