oh i was. 2001 playoffs broke my heart breh. never cared as much after that
i think its 'growing up with a team' that has an effect. that and once i got older, i realized there were more important things to care about rather than some merry-go-round of millionaires, but then again maybe i turned into a cynical c*nt.
i used to be very into sports. mets, knicks, metro, isles. a weird combination of 'i grew up' + 'all of them started sucking badly' = apathy

I don't really consider that to be a must-see.
Shoot, City of God is more must-see than Apocalypse Now.
I haven't seen most so-called big movies. Was never much of a movie person, other than just watching movies when they came on cable. Only started getting into movies 2/3 years ago, and I only really check for Indie/Foreign, and Black flicks.

Not the cap, but scrap the conference/division nonsense, 1 table, 8 teams make the playoffs, chop the league to 26. Everyone plays each other twice, home and away.
Just a pipe dream, no way in hell will that ever happen. And would love to see major amateur Basketball as we know it completely scrapped, and just go to a straight up academy system(imagine how good the Bullets could be
). The amount of money that's being made in Amateur sports in this country is ruining the development of athletes in this country. How can a D-1 QB not know how to throw at an average level. How do you have PG's, and SG's that can't shoot.
Too many kids are not being properly developed at the youth level anymore, but are only coached to win at that level.
