Leipzig practically played the same way they did in the first game. Press, press, press, Pogba was able to maneuver through it and pass the ball to a forward in decent position. Neither, Fernandes, Mac nor Fred could do that.
It was just inexcusable to not start him

:mjlol: Leipzig play the same way in every game. Stop being a Stanley.

United as a team couldn't stop Leipzig, in those first 20mins. Goals 1 and 2 had nothing to do with Leipzig winning the ball high with pressing, they played thru them hot knife thru butter. And we all know Pogbas defensive effort all depends on side of the bed he gets out of. Just because he did well vs their press in the first game doesn't mean he would of done the same this game. After all Southampton made him look silly last season, which is he closest to Leipzig in the PL in terms of tactics. But I guess you missed that particular game. :sas2:


Like I said Pogba being there in the first half wouldn't of made a difference. But he should of been on from the restart.

We had Van De Beek in there to help with the press. He's our only press resistant player.
