I'm a united fan and even I'm not having that. He's great for the longevity and success but he was never the best player in the team at any point. Great player and great career of course.

Gooney top 3 in both goals and assists, so Lampard should be there as well. Most PL goals from midfield and 4th in assists. He has to make it, especially when 5 of the top 7 scorers were listed. Andy Cole is the only person missing.

You cannot have Keane without Vieira and vice versa.

And it's majority of British Journalists I assume that picked this. So of course it's going to have an Anglo bias to it. And going off most lists done these days stats played a huge part in it. Why you got Giggs most titles, assists etc, Shearer most goals, mentioned Lampard and Gooney goals and assists. Aguero most goals by a foreign player. Cannot escape the lytics era.

Out of the 10. Henry, Shearer Cantona and C dot are undeniable. Henry best PL player, Shearer 100 goals for 2 clubs. Cantona the most iconic/First true star of the PL. C dot the best player ever to play in the PL. The rest is whatever.

Everyone's list is going to be different dependant on what their criteria is
