It's 2 things. 1. The classic redemption story, he was nearly shipped out to Fulham, blah blah blah and he is in Klopps image.

2. Him being the face of the group of players who donated to the NHS is what sealed it.

Even then that still doesn't surpass Mane, who is building hospitals and schools.
:skip: Is it a humanitarian award or best player of the year award? I hate how narratives like this fukk up individual awards. It should simply be the best player that season fukk all that other non-football shyt.

KDB should’ve won this but if they were going to give it to a Pool player there’s at least 5 that have been better this year. ‘But but he’s a great leader’ has nothing to do with football ability.

Rashford finished third. And what he did taking on the government and making sure the youts were getting fed thru the summer holidays was :salute:. But would he even finish third in the United POTY award for this season? And he definitely isn't top 3 in the city of Manchester. Then again maybe he does deserve to finish 3rd after Ole broke his damn back.

He's easily top 3 for united this season. Easily. Has a strong case for number 1 even.

Bruno is #1 at worst #2, if you feel you cannot give it for half a seasons body of work. His impact alone has taken United up a level. Then it's a preference of who you like better Rashford or Martial? And then it's Fred, Murda and AWB.

is not just he's not liverpool best player or midfielder but its the fact that they kinda just shoe horned his name into the debate.

sad can't have too many foreigners win back to back or non whites for that matter

again are we rating seasonal performances or also including humanitarian leadership qualities? dont get me wrong he has played well and above he was expected but smh whateva

Ivan The Turrible defecated the bed again, he has to get fired. For all his political maneuvering he did to get his man in place. He caved for someone whose career history shows he lasts 18months in jobs. Starts strong and then fades. Even tho Elliott are American, Gazidis and South African, this whole thing smells of Classic Italian nepotism.

Only things I can think of as to why it failed, the club is either being sold. Or Rangnick had enough of waiting around and knew Gazidis is full of shyt and decided to stay with the RB group instead.

Give up modern football club structure and German Bielsa for Italian Alan Pardew:francis: .

At least il Capitano is staying. Apart from hiring that Fraud GP he has done a good job.
Rangnick dodged a bullet, Ivan did him a huge favor by bottling this.

But it just makes my blood boil seeing that Rangnick was willing to go to a dysfunctional Milan which probably means United could scoop him up easily. But Ed Woodward is still pretending he's a DoF :hhh:

I completely gave up on the idea of United getting a DoF but yesterday they "leaked" a story again that they're considering hiring a DoF, which they do every time United has three bad matches in a row :scust:

Rashford/Marital and Fred, since for most of the season he helped us out before Matic came back and got sent back to the bench.

Bruno can be a late entry since he was a beast before he got ran into the ground by Ole.

Notable mentions; McTominay for the same reason as Fred and Wan Bissaka before he also got ran into the ground by Ole. :skip:

Also shown how much we miss Luke Shaw as well.

Sure Bruno is obviously pivotal but its always hard to judge that considering he's only been there half the season. Rashy if you're including his humanitarian work since that's the game now.

Bruno/Rashy
Fred
AWB/Martial

would be my top 3.
