But there were always prejudices against him for being American. He'd have days where he was better than Dembele, and it didn't matter. "Make the American prove himself again". I didn't get it. I could see Dembele was more talented and arguably the most talented youngster in soccer give or take Mbappe, but it wasn't by enough of a margin to warrant the way Pulisic was used on Dortmund.
