Generally, it's homegrown/academy graduates players that get the buyback clause. Now on the buyback clause there is usually an expiration date on it, that the selling club has to buy by or a % of future sales like United have with Palace on Zaha, that why Palace want 80m, as they owe United 25%.

points without insults breh. We desperately needed a winger and got one of the best in Europe for around 20mil this year. Even if our budget is 45mil that still leaves us in good shape to land Thierny and a young experienced CB. We can rebuild while remaining competitive. The good clubs do that.
