Copa Libertadores starting next week, what teams should we be looking out for? I slept through the group stages but will try to keep up with the knockout rounds.

River Plate/Cruzeiro looks interesting :jbhmm:
Flamengo is probably the most interesting team. They went out and bought an amazing squad, but they haven’t been as good as people thought they would be. They recently hired Jorge Jesus who was previously at Benfica and Sporting to come in and fix things, but as of now they haven’t significantly improved. With the money they’ve spent and the players they’ve brought in anything short of winning the Libertadores would be a massive failure.

In terms of the best matches to watch in the next stage it’ll probably be River Plate/Cruzeiro and Boca Juniors/Atletico PR.

Maynee if we really gonna spend that Money on Zaha, we might as well give that to Barca for Dembele instead so they can use that for Neymar

Why the fukk would Dembele wanna come to Arsenal

Flamengo and Palmeiras are the favorites to win it all but were knocked out of the Copa do Brasil last night in ridiculous fashion

We’ll be facing the champions River Plate in the 1st leg next week

I would not mind that all. Tbh I’m skeptical of Serie A players ever since we bought lamela from y’all when he was suppose to be our bale replacement but was a flop. The nikka was just so slow with his decision making. Only highlight was him scoring rabona. Should’ve stayed at Roma
Lamela flopped mostly due to injuries but also his value at Roma was inflated that season because of Zeman's tactics :wow:

By the way you can take Florenzi as well :hubie:
