I know it isn't good enough, which I said and argued with my breh @Mané Swagincha about. But it is needed because Mane and Mo tend to switch off defensively. Milner and Henderson will give 110% effort.

I like TheOx but he isn't really an upgrade tbh. Lacks the tactical intelligence of Henderson, the delivery of Milner and the tekkers of Wijnaldum.

A goal in each CL leg against City last season bruv..he is top quality as a midfielder

Ox is a nice reserve to have. He's not good enough to start week to week however. That was the whole reason I was apprehensive to getting him in the first place.

The attack was too much for them. Everybody scored it seemed like.

Agreed, I'm still happy for the W and 8 goals even tho it's against a newly promoted team. I wanna see this same energy against seasoned La Liga/champion league teams.

I'm just wished Coutinho's name was on the score board:mjcry:

:russ: He was trying, especially towards the end of the match.

People forget about the Italian goons back there...there's a reason why Italian teams in Europe are TOUGH ass matches. You get beat up in Italy still.

He's had 4 weeks to implement an entire philosophical change AND he didn't have the summer because of the World Cup. This team won't be running on all cylinders until at least December and Kos is back. Then you extrapolate that by the fact that he doesn't have HIS players outside of Torreia and Matteo really. The first two weeks were rough, but this run up until around mid-October is going to be perfect for them to grow as a side.

Auba-Ozil-Laca looks AMAZING together. Get Xhaka outa there...start Matteo/Rambo or Matteo/Torreia. START FUGGING LENO and one more CB and a winger and this team is solid to make a bush back into the top 4.
Ramsey doesn't have the discipline to play deep anymore, he switches off defensively and he will try to recreate 2014 or die trying. Ozil looked better linking up deep from the 2nd half. Feel Emery thinks 2 new center mids that don't speak English and are very young along with a new goalie plus a new central defensive partnership would be too much. I think if Torreira keeps it up it would be him plus one of Guendouzi or Xhaka. Matteo is good but not automatic first XI good at this point. He is stubborn tactically though, the Guendouzi/Xhaka partnership has not been impressive at all in a set up with fullbacks pushed high up , it made 2 teams that are in awful form look respectable.
