The Europa League's a joke. I would rather qualify for the CL for 15 years straight without winning than win the Europa League.

Arsenal won the Premier League multiple times against tougher competition in Manchester United and Liverpool during the early 2000s (when Barcelona and Real weren't that good). And Arsenal have beaten both Real and Barcelona in the CL.

Atletico have regressed since winning La Liga 2 years ago. And the season in which they won, Barcelona and Madrid were dealing with their own injury crises. Congrats to them for winning the league but you using that as the basis to claim that they're better than Arsenal is a joke.

when did they underachieve...when they won the 2001 la liga? when they won the 2003 la liga? the early 2000s were real's best years in recent history. makele left in 2004, i think thats like mid 2000s
neither of us can tell for sure what will happen if atletico would play arsenal this year... im just looking at what la liga teams achieved last 2 seasons in europe and what epl teams achieved

blind and smalling going into midfield positions to create an extra player in possession.
Wingers keeping the field wide in possession
