They do call him the next viera... Wenger flirted with Willem Carvalho for a minute too. He's another good young MF, similar to pogba, but pogba is simply on another level.

How much do you think Pogba will be sold for? I know it depends on who secures the transfer but what do you believe the price range is?

Pogba is not as defensive as Viera in the box to box role. Vidal and Matuidi are players that i would liken to him out of the current players. Pogba IMO can be like what Yaya is to City because he is better going forward than Viera was for Arsenal were he was good in initiating attacks and always played with a more defensive minded midfielders like Petit, Edu and Gilberto. Benzema would be a better choice for this Arsenal team at the moment, the deficiency in the forward line is far greater than the need in midfield.

1. Vieira was better going forward than Pogba. This is fact. Look at the goals he scored for Arsenal. Look at how much they relied upon him when they attacked with Henry and Pires.

2. Arsenal is one of the highest scoring teams in the PL (if not top 2). As I stated earlier, Arsenal don't have problems scoring; the issue is controlling the midfield and shielding it's defense. Plus, Benzema is a very one-dimensional striker that rarely helps in build up play. Arsenal would be much better off getting a top box-to-box midfielder than a striker.

70 at the minimum. Dude has the potential to be a balon d'or winner. Have to remember whoever buys him, it will be straight profit for Juve too since he came on free transfer from Man U. They are about to :eat:

nikka gave Fergie an ultimatum. Play me more or I'm leaving. He said the next game Rafael and paul Scholes were starting :laff:

:francis:

Might be fergies biggest gaffe if he turns about to be what everyone thinks he will be.

Ferguson was stubborn as hell and wanted to treat him like he was another squad player; Pogba was young, knew his value, and wanted to get out of Fergie's shadow.

I think letting Pogba go was one of his biggest ever management mistakes.

Yeah, I really like dude. He's definitely the future and is already one of the best players in the world.

I think he's the best midfielder in the game, given his skill set, age, and pedigree.

I wouldn't say Arsenal relied on him for that, this was a team with Henry,Pires,Bergkamp, Ljumberg who between them scored the vast majority of goals. Pires and Ljumberg were good for 30 goals combined in the Invincibles season and there were many times in 2002 specifically where Ljumberg was the clutch player for the team. Even Wiltord and Kanu contributed a lot to those Arsenal teams. Viera was excellent in having a presence in midfield and joining the attacks at times he could stay defensive and then make late runs into the box. Pogba is at his best attacking and for Juventus I have seen Vidal and Marchisio putting in more of a defensive shift.

Arsenal has been outscored by City, Chelsea and United in the past seasons at some point. The gap between Arsenal and a team like City is obvious. Benzema is many things but one dimensional striker he is not, if anything he is the perfect striker to play in a system where Ronaldo and Bale take as many shots as they do. Higuain didn't work out because he is not a good build up player as Benzema. Teams let Arsenal control the ball many times and simply flood the edge of the box, this is how they lose games in England.

yea but i doubt barca will sell, they already have a thin team and cant transfer. Van gaal really needs a star player,i think neymar is kind of weak for premier league... sure he is gotten stronger than when he was at santos... but still
