Just 7 years ago they where in a European final as well. They spent too much money they didn't have went out of business and had to start again at the bottom and routinely get humped by the likes of hibs and Motherwell.

Most spectacular fall off in sports history imo.

Sterling is all potential so far, Walcott is an established player who is proven and will get goals. And adding Gibbs as part of the deal as well, gtfo . We'd basically be taking a step back by having to wait for Sterling to mature as a player and also having to replace a left back.

Gibbs is fukking trash. I'd keep Theo if he realizes that playing on the wings will be position, not striker. Sterling is overrated at the moment, but under Wenger's guidance he can be special.
