Tbh that formation needs to be thrown to the bushes with the personnel we have. Then again we dont exactly have the squad for tactical flexibility. I don't know what ya'll want from him. Nobody on this team has performed well in a big game last 2 years. It's even harder for a winger to play well when one through ball splits the entire team 90% of the time in big matches. They are scared as hell to try things. I guarantee you, we buy a proper CM and a proper striker....Ozil, Santi, Rambo, Jack all play ten times better. He is a much better player when he has the freedom to roam around the center...which he cannot do as much because our fullbacks and center mids leave gigantic holes whenever a winger comes inside. I agree actually we need faster players but Santi aint the problem.
